B. Key Result Areas:
1. Budget Planning Controlling
- Developing & maintaining Mimar Financial & Accounting guide / manual (includes finance & accounting map – documentations)
- Ensure working according to pre-approved budget (core & conditional)
- Ensure having a clear Cashflow planning & emergency planning to meet fixed obligations
- Ensure having internal audit system to control revenue & expenses.
2. Maximizing Profitability
- Prepare monthly – quarterly & yearly financial reports to management (P & L – revenue and or collection status – expenses status - financial statement ..etc)
- Ensure that all expenses are as per budget in due time.
- Ensure proper approvals are in place as per documentations structure.
- Ensure proper collection system is in place and controlled.
- Issue invoices as per contracts.
- Ensure proper follow up related to collection
- Present recommendations for pricing Mimar services based on profitability goals & fixed expenses percentage.
- Ensure proper accounting procedures as per the Egyptian Accounting standards.
- Review all contracts before signature and review conditions from financial and cash flow point of views.
- Coordinate with department heads & HR regarding their financial needs and agree on action plans.
- Organize abroad collection.
- Develop & maintain proper asset control system and procedures.
- Ensure all transactions are recorded and properly allocated to ensure accurate financial statement.
- Ensure to follow all recommendations of internal auditor & Legal Accounting councilor.
- Manage Treasury & operational expenses.
- Coordinate with HR regarding Payroll payment inside & outside Egypt
- Ensure all Mimar obligations are being met in due time as planned, and suggest action plan to meet any unforeseen challenges.
- Prepare monthly VAT declaration.
- Prepare quarterly W/H Tax declaration
- Assist in preparing year-end tax declaration.
- Assists in any tax issues
- Make sure that tax declaration is submitted accurately and paid.
- Filling for all tax declaration and their breakdown.
- Bookkeeping for all tax declaration and payments
4. Leading Accounting Team
- Proper department manpower planning.
- Ensure that all administrative activities are fulfilled in due time.
- Manage staff administratively (attendance, vacation balance, appraisals, hiring needs …etc.)
- Motivate Team members to maximize performance
- Ensure team members are being developed through trainings, job rotation .. etc.
