As an Electrical Modeler you will contribute to the success of MIMAR through providing assistance throughout the building design process as per MIMAR vision, values and standards for all projects within approved budget & time frame.
Key Responsibilities:
· Create and manage detailed electrical BIM models using software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
· Develop accurate 3D models for electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, low-voltage, and ELV systems.
· Ensure all models comply with relevant design standards and project specifications.
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design conflicts.
· Conduct clash detection using tools like Navisworks and resolve identified issues.
· Produce detailed drawings, schematics, and layouts for electrical systems based on BIM models.
· Maintain quality and accuracy in all BIM deliverables.
· Preparation of schedules and sheet lists, BOQ.
· Developing and applying Revit templates and families.
· Adhere to the schedule and follow BIM content standards and development procedures.
Requirements:
· Diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM modeling, preferably in the UAE or other GCC countries.
· Prior experience with design consulting firms is a must.
· Proficiency in BIM tools, especially Revit and Navisworks.
· Solid understanding of electrical design principles and systems.
· Knowledge of local authority regulations and requirements in the Gulf countries.
· Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
· Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
· Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Work Environment:
